Debbie Gamble | Chief Innovation and New Ventures Officer

Named one of 2018’s ‘Most Influential Women in Payments’ by Payments Source Magazine and recipient of the Women in Payments ‘Distinguished Payments Professional’ award, Debbie is the Chief Innovation and New Ventures Officer at Interac Corp. 

Debbie is responsible for driving the innovation agenda and accelerating growth via strategic partnerships. A seasoned payments and digital commerce executive, entrepreneur and thought leader with over 25 years of experience, Debbie has been involved in early iterations of the digital economy including crypto currency, mobile commerce and digital ID on an international scale. Previous roles include Founder at Dexit Inc. and Head of North America for Mondex International (a subsidiary of MasterCard).

Before joining Interac, Debbie worked with The Royal Canadian Mint, Visa, Telus, Ontario Lottery & Gaming, Bell and others providing product and strategic guidance. Debbie is an Advisor at MaRS and Luge Capital, a board member at FINCA Canada and a founding member of Verity Women’s Club.
